Hello and welcome to the exciting world of the Pink SewingBus, I am Miss Libby Rose (sewing teacher, designer & maker) I’m so very excited to be working alongside Hobbycraft & Janome to bring to you this travelling sewing workshop. Come along and join me on my travels…

The bus will be visiting Hobbycraft Stores across the UK to showcase the wonderful world of sewing and all the fantastic makes that you can do especially using Fat Quarters – there is more to fat quarters than you think! The ‘PINK SEWING BUS’ will visit 2 Hobbycraft stores a month. These visits will usually happen on a Saturday, Sunday or if in School Holiday time the occasional weekday. See the calendar page for more details when the bus will visit a store near you! Join the journey
The spectacular vintage inspired ‘pink bus’ Citroen H Van is opening its doors to the public offering workshop based classes for Adults & Children. The workshop inside the bus is ready to go as a totally self-sufficient space with sewing machines and projects, all we need is you!
Aside from offering workshops outside Hobbycraft Stores, the bus will also be visiting High Streets, Community spaces, Events & festivals throughout the year. Working with the Arts Council, these workshops will launch July 2016. Keep an eye on the Facebook & Twitter pages for when the Pink Sewing Bus will visit you!

Miss Libby Rose is a sewing & fashion design teacher with a light, fun approach to classes sharing her belief that the art of sewing is indeed also a mindful practice to make you feel good. On social media she often uses the hashtag  #sewingmakesyousmile.
Taking this message across the country in a fabulous vintage ‘Pink Sewing Bus’ helped along the way be her sponsors Hobbycraft & Janome, Libby loves to share her skills to all, from working in housing estates and community centres through to after school sewing  clubs for kids plus workshops at Hobbycraft stores across the country and at the Knitting and Stitching Shows.

Over the many years of teaching sewing to both adults and children I have found it fascinating to watch people transform and evolve from learning the skills of sewing and design.. Whatever the reason people have decided to come along to a class or workshop, the same result runs throughout: confidence in onself and in ones ability!”

Being recently described by the Daily Mail online as ‘One of the coolest sewing stars to follow now’ she is building her blog and online teaching presence so you can learn online as well as on the pink sewing bus!  Follow the journey on social media @pinksewingbus @misslibbyrose and at www.misslibbyrose.com
